Our Journey So Far…

Mega Road Safety Walkathon, Pune

February, 2024

The Mega Road Safety Walkathon, organized by NGO Drive Smart Drive Safe, was a remarkable initiative aimed at fostering awareness, education, and positive change regarding road safety. Participants walked over 1 kilometer from SSPMS Ground through Mangalwar Peth station of Pune’s Maha Metro and back, symbolizing their commitment to safer roads and responsible driving behavior. This event, held on the last day of the Ministry’s National Road Safety Month,
witnessed an unprecedented turnout of more than 1350 citizens, including school children, who collectively took 1.5 Million safety steps to promote road safety awareness.

India Against Road Crash IARC2020

India Against Road Crash IARC2020 during Road Safety Week 2020 in January was a great beginning across India, with the objective to start a sustainable chain of campaigns which not only make people aware & get them to pledge the 6 code of conduct but it leads to formation of Road Safety Clubs among Corporate, Institutions & organizations at various locations.

DooriHaiZaroori was in continuation to taking commitment from all over by taking pledge after micro training on TrafficDistancing to practice and follow safe speed and safe distance while commuting on roads.

 

 

 

1 Crore Steps

July 2018

Every day, 400 commuters do not return home; one of the biggest causes of these unnatural demises is the significant number of road deaths.

What can you do to bring awareness and stem the tide of this avoidable hazard? The “Longest and Largest Walkathon” from Kanyakumari to Kashmir is on its way to bring a sense of urgency to the cause. Citizens of India were urged to walk #1Croresteps for safer Indian roads in their neighborhoods.

Giving respect and saying Thank You is what Club D2S did on Drivers Day, that was celebrated throughout the country on 17th September 2014. We are living easily every day, as they sweat it out on roads to cater our daily needs. A big Thank You to all the Drivers from Culb D2S!!

 

 

IARC Safe Speed Challenge

2020-2021

IARC SafeSpeedChallenge was an all women team of challengers on a  never before National Driving Championship from Amritsar to Kanyakumari, demonstrating defensive driving following SafeSpeed and SafeDistance on Indian Roads. The Rally was 24×7 live and was open to everyone through CommuterCircuit where anyone and everyone can participate and contribute SafeMiles and earn SafePoints. IARC App was live for the challenge and users can negate with more than 3.5 lacs potholes across country through use of IARC mobile app. 

Nukad Natak At BGS International School

Dwarka, 2014

A Nukad Natak(Street Play) under its umbrella social initiative. Drive Smart Drive Safe (Club D2S). The motive of the Natak was to engage and make more people aware of road safety and associated aspects. The event was organized in BGS School, Dwarka, New Delhi, 2014. During the Natak people were sensitized to basic safety rules to be followed on road. Also, it covered important topics like the use of safety belts, no drunken driving, no over speeding and many more aspects.
